Corporate Social Responsibility has various definitions, but generally this one works best for us:

What we now term as corporate social responsibility is arguably still in its infancy; with companies developing their policies. In the presentation of a structured approach the same can be said of Crusader Assistance, however, managing our business ethically and supporting those less well off than ourselves is something that we have always done.

Our CSR Plan Environmental impact
We have consistently improved our processes to, where possible, create a paperless environment. Our main client operating system is all electronically held data that is transferred in the same way between our suppliers, i.e. solicitors and credit hire companies.

Our aim is for all accounts to be transacted via email and electronically.

In other areas wherever possible we recycle our own waste in an effort to decrease our carbon footprint.

Charitable Donations at home
and abroad

Sparks: Crusader Assistance is proud to be a supporter of Sparks - sports aiding medical research for kids – since 2005. The Sparks’ mission is for all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy, by funding high quality medical research into childhood diseases.

African Revival: African Revival is a UK based charity founded in 2005 by one of our broker partners. Their vision is of an Africa where children have access to education, opportunity and a choice for the future.

We support the charity by regularly attending their fund raising events, but in 2009 made a significant donation to the Lubombo Community School in Rural Zambia. Crusader’s donation has paid for a three classroom block, with 60 new desks, plus to site and drill a borehole for fresh water.

Treating customers and
employees fairly

As a company we are proud to say that many of our staff have worked with us for a long time. Our policy is to promote from within and support those wishing to further their career.

We have siblings and different generations of the same family working with us, most of whom are local to the Twickenham area. We also offer work experience to local teenagers.

We have specifically developed our processes to hand-hold our clients through their experience and ensure that we treat customers fairly, at the very least in-line with FSA requirements.
